How Yard Mule Pro collects, uses, and protects your data — written plainly, no lawyer required to understand it.
Yard Mule Pro LLC is a Connecticut limited liability company, headquartered at 28 Middle Rd, Enfield, CT 06082. We build and operate a web-based yard management platform that helps logistics facilities coordinate trailer movements.
This Privacy Policy applies to all users of our platform at yardmulepro.com — drivers, dispatchers, admins, and prospective clients who submit inquiries.
We are a software company. We are not your employer and have no relationship with the facility where you work. Your employer is the company that deployed YMP at your site.

Important: YMP does not collect personal GPS or device location data from drivers. The only coordinates stored are facility-level yard maps configured by property admins — not your phone's location.

We use your data to authenticate your session, display your assigned role, record trailer spot state changes, and coordinate dispatch operations. This is the core purpose of the platform.
When you use voice trailer ID entry, your browser captures speech and converts it to text. That text transcript is sent to our backend where an AI model formats it into a clean trailer ID. We do not store the raw transcript after the formatting operation completes.
If you submit a demo or inquiry, your contact details are used solely to follow up about YMP. We do not sell or share lead data with third parties for marketing purposes.
Aggregated, non-identifiable operational data may be used to improve the product. No individual user is identifiable in this analysis.
YMP does not use advertising networks, behavioral tracking tools, or data brokers. We do not sell your data. Ever.
All platform data is stored in Google Firebase (Firestore) hosted in the United States. API keys are stored as Firebase Secrets and are never exposed in client-side code.

YMP disables Firestore offline persistence for yard spot data using in-memory cache only — this prevents stale trailer state from persisting after a page reload, a deliberate operational safety decision.
Access · Correction · Deletion · Opt-out of follow-up communications
Under the Connecticut Data Privacy Act, you have the right to access, correct, delete, and obtain a portable copy of your personal data, and to opt out of sale or targeted advertising. YMP does neither. We will respond to requests within 45 days.
California residents have the right to know what personal information is sold or disclosed (we do neither), and the right to non-discrimination for exercising privacy rights.
GDPR rights apply including access, rectification, erasure, restriction, and data portability. Contact us to exercise these rights.

Lead data — retained until you request deletion or the inquiry is resolved.
User accounts — retained while active. Deletable on request at any time.
Yard operational data — retained for operational continuity. No PII is embedded in move records beyond UID references.
Voice transcripts — not retained after the formatting operation completes. Ephemeral.
Server logs — retained per Google Cloud Platform's default logging schedules.
YMP is a professional logistics tool for adults in commercial settings. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has submitted information through our platform, contact us immediately and we will delete it.
When we make material changes, we'll update the effective date above and notify active users where appropriate. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
